I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in AI Integrated Educational Design & Management at Sogang University, advised by Prof. Hyo Jeong Shin in the MindScale Lab at Sogang University.
I am a prospective Ph.D. applicant for Fall 2027, with research interests at the intersection of psychometrics, educational measurement and evaluation, and generative AI.

Coordinated paper session proposal submitted to the NCME 2027.
I presented an analysis applying Item Response Theory (IRT), conceptualizing AI benchmarks as measurement instruments and LLMs as test-takers.
I led a team of over 100 student volunteers from around the world, helping create a welcoming and inclusive environment at the Festival of Learning, which brought together the AIED, EDM, and L@S communities!
I discussed how AI-enabled multilingual translation should go beyond translation itself and strive for measurement equivalence. Excited to keep working toward more valid AI-enabled assessments!
I shared empirical results on how the linguistic features of individual response options relate to item functioning, with the goal of enabling more nuanced learner feedback and deeper distractor analysis.
I walked EBS leadership and staff through our research, highlighting psychometric findings from a large-scale analysis of EBS’s item bank.
